Santosh Yadav was an extremely determined person who took her own decisions in life.

When her parents refused to pay for her school fees, she decided to earn money by working part time and pay the fees all by herself.

It is because of her sheer determination and hard work that she could learn mountaineering in spite of being the resident of a village and eventually emerged to be the youngest woman to climb the Mt Everest.

Her courage, determination and perseverance made her the person she became.
