Given:

Position of a particle = (3,2,5).

To Find:

Position vector of the particle.

Solution:

In a rectangular co-ordinate system, the points of the position represents x, y and z. The position given is (3, 2, 5).

Thus 3, 2 and 5 represents x, y and z respectively.

Further, the position vector, in general, is given by xi + yj + zk.

Therefore, the position vector of the given points is 3i + 2j + 5k. (Option b).

The position vector of the particle in a rectangular co-ordinate system with position (3,2,5) is 3i +2j + 5k.
