Hey Mate! Here's ur answer.
Position of isotopes : Isotopes are the atoms of the same element having different atomic masses. Therefore, according to Mendeleev’s classification these should be placed at different places depending upon their atomic masses. For example, hydrogen isotopes with atomic masses 1,2 and 3 should be placed at three places. However, isotopes have not been given separate places in the periodic table because of their similar properties.

I Hope It Helps ......☺️

Heyyyy !!!

The isotopes were discovered long after Mendeleev had proposed his periodic classification of elements.
Now the question that what are isotopes?
= ISOTOPES are the atoms of the same elements with same atomic number but different MASS number ( atomic masses)

Thus, ISOTOPES should be placed separately in the periodic table but no separate place has been given to the isotopes in the Mendeleev periodic table.

Hope this helps you dear:)

MARK as BRAINLIST if you think so ✌

@Swara
stay happy

TilakDave: i dont need such kind of answer
swara15: ooo! sorry
