According to mirror formula

1v+1u=1f⇒1v+1−40=1−20

⇒1v−140=−120

⇒1v=−120+140=−2+140=−140

v = -40 cm

Position : Image is formed 40 cm in front of the concave mirror.

Nature : Image is real and inverted .
