Given,

Position vectors of A and B are respectively A(2,3,4) & B(2,5,6).

To find,

The position vector of the midpoint of AB.

Solution,

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Position vector of A = (2-0)i + (3-0)j + (4-0)k = 2i+3j+4k

Position vector of B = (2-0)i + (5-0)j + (6-0)k = 2i+5j+6k

Position vector of the midpoint of AB = [(2i+3j+4k)+(2i+5j+6k)]/2 = [(2+2)i + (3+5)j + (4+6)k]/2 = (4i+8j+10k)/2 = 2i+4j+5k

Hence, the position vector of the midpoint will be 2i+4j+5k
