Position (x) of an object is related to time (t) as x= t^3-12t where (x) is in metre and (t) in second. Find the acceleration of the object when its velocity is zero.

Displacement of particle       x=20+t3−12t  SI units

Position of particle at t=0 s,        x∣∣∣∣∣t=0s=20+0−0=20 m

Velocity of the particle       v=dtdx=3t2−12  m/s

∴    v∣∣∣∣∣t=0=0−12=−12m/s
