The word South Asian Literature Refers to the works of literature dine by writers who belong to the Indian subcontinent. Here are some countries that come under the "South Asian" category: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc.

  • In my opinion South Asian Literature or any piece of art or literature for that matter changes through time. As time passed by, one of the biggest changes that happened to the South Asian Literary community was the change in the central themes.
  • These "central themes" are very distinctive and particular, they are also very recurrent, so that the writings or the literary pieces  are touched on again and again under the various different categories available, until cultural difference is accumulated.
