There are 3 different degrees of comparison that are basically forms of comparison in adjectives. They are :-

  • Positive degree
  • Comparitive degree
  • Superlative degree

  1. Positive degree is used as an adjective for 1 person.
  2. Comparitive degree is used as an adjective for 2 persons.
  3. Superlative degree is used as an adjective for more than 2 persons to show that it has the greatest or least degree of all.
