positive effect of violence
Answers
Heya....
Here's your answer.....
Violence is always presented as negative behavior with intention to hurt someone, without positive effects. But is aggressive behavior always negative, or does positive effects of violence exist?
Observed in context of different real life situations, aggressive behavior happens very often and, in my opinion, it's often justified.
Also, I could say that it's often unfortunately necessary.
A man who used gun against burglar to protect himself and his family, policeman who killed terrorist, a woman who used tear gas to get rid of attacker, etc... Those are all every day examples from real life in which aggressive behavior was necessary. Beside that, important institutions of almost every country use violence to keep peace (police, military...). Also, members of those organizations get rewards, promotions and prizes because of violence.
To sum it up, violence and aggression are justified only in self defense.
So, conclusion is that aggressive behavior is absolutely necessary (to prevent unwanted consequences), useful and justified (because it's used in self defense) in society today.
But when we observe violence and aggressive behavior alone, like an isolated action without context, it's always negative and I can't seem to find a way in which it could possibly be positive.
Thanks....!!!
