A road accident you witnessed

Everyday we read cases of accidents in newspapers but I never thought that I would ever witness any accident.One day while i was returning from school . I was stopped by a huge gathering of crowd and queues of cars.After enquiring from some of the spectators we came to know that a boy had been knocked down by a speeding car.We saw that a small boy was lying unconsciously . suddenly we heard the siren of a police van.The accused was handed over to the police.And it was followed by a ambulance.The boy was taken to the near by hospital and after some days i came to know that the boy was saved and was perfectly fine.
