As kids, we totally depend on our parents, and then when we hit adolescence, we question everything they have taught us. We feel that we are not being given the freedom we deserve. Eventually, we realise, everything that our parents warned us about, was correct. And that is when we start respecting them and loving them more and more. When we get married and have kids, we understand our parent better and wonder how they did it. How did they raise us so well and never complained?

Now that I am a mom, I can relate to the sacrifices my parents made while raising me and my brother. I remember how they never declined any of our demands. How my mother took care of me as a ba.by and did all the household chores without any help ! I can’t function if my maid takes a day off. My parents worked so hard to provide us with all the lu.xuries. I feel they are the most precious treasure of my life because, no one can lo.ve me as selfles.sly as they do. Not even my own children.

Mom and dad, I want to thank you for everything that you have done to give me such a beautiful childhoo.d. Thank you for being my biggest support and standing by me during all the tough times. Thank you for believing in me and letting me take my own decisions. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers at all times.
I want to apologise for being such a troublesome teenager and I am sorry if I ever let you down in those days. I was young and naive and did not understand the repercussions of my actions. I do now. I am sorry if I could not come up to your expectations from me. I still strive very hard to make you proud. I pray everyday for the best of your health and happiness.
