There is an trending news about Indian Army Postal Services ,APS which is going to Close it’s Postal Life Insurance services and Saving Bank,SB like facilities. Now no new Postal Life Insurance will be generated because already running PLIs are going to be ceased on or before 30 November 2017. Orders for Closure of PLI ,Postal Life Insurance,Saving Bank Account Service in APS, Army Postal Services  has been passed by the Ministry of defence in this regards. So the all financial transactions will close in these post offices.

Army Postal Services will be unable to process the Saving Bank Account transactions also. If you having saving bank account in the army post offices then you have to transfer your account in civil post office or bank. This step is a part of Modi Government digitilisation India View. Recently Finance Ministry has order that all the saving bank account facility will be transferred to Banks. In this view PLIs and SB accont facilities are going to close in APS also, Later on these services will be processed only through banks. All these services will be removed from civil post offices also and total work will be handed over to the Bank services in India.
