Thomson’s postulates are

(a) An atom consists of a positively charged sphere and the electrons are embedded in it.
(b) The negative and positive charges are equal in magnitude and so an atom as a whole is
electrically neutral.

the electons are embededin a positve charge just like the seeds embeded in a embeded in red fibrous watermelon.it is neutral in charge
