1)k+cl=kcl

k has oxidation no 0 on reacting side and +1 on product side so it is oxidized

and cl has oxidation no. 0 on reacting side and -1 on product so it is reduced hence it is a redox reaction

2)k-electron=k+

cl+electron=cl-
