Other bulbs which we get from plants are Garlic, Onions and Shallots
- A Bulb is constituted of the stem and leaves of a plant. The bottom of the bulb is a compacted stem, and roots evolve from that part of the bulb. Coatings of nutrient-filled leaves settle at the bottom of the bulb and enclose a bud that ultimately becomes the flower.
Other roots which we get from plants are beetroot, turnip, ginger, rutabaga, taro and carrots.
- The Root is that part of a vascular plant generally underground. Its main functions are the port of the plant, absorption of water and dissolved minerals and conduction processes to the stem and storage of reserve foods.
