Potential across battery...where it should positive or negative

hey i ddnt do the second circuit bcoz i dnt knw if the potential 2V r marked by u or its given in the qstion.Dnt do that... let 0V....u can use it bt nt here n u were doing it wrongly. Secondly when 2 circuits r joined like that remmber that current never flows throu that connecting wire(understand this thing nicely frm ur sir/mam).I showed how to do the first part...hope it helps u!!
