Given that,

 Potential difference across the resistor, V_R = 4V

 Potential difference across the inductor, V_L = 6V

 Potential difference across the capacitor, V_C = 3V

∴  Potential difference across the source,

                             V=\sqrt{V_R^2+\left(V_L^2-V_C^2\right)}         (∵ V_L > V_C)

                             V=\sqrt{4^2+\left(6^2-3^2\right)}

                             V=\sqrt{4^2+\left(6^2-3^2\right)}

                             V=\sqrt{43}=6.557V
