Answer:

Yes. Every social problem is the root cause for the other. In the case of Poverty it is caused due to unemployment, discrimination and lack of opportunities. Not to forget that poverty also brings all of the above mentioned social problems to be faced by the person Below Poverty Line(BPL).

In today's world where wealth plays a crucial role in survival we find many suck people who beg on the streets, do many jobs at once etc. These people don't do them on purpose. They are forced to do so.

These people not only face the intense consequences of having less money or no money at all, they are also exposed to many other social evils. Like Discrimination, Lack of Opportunities, Child labour etc. Not only do they face such evils but they undergo hunger, illness, thurst etc.

People below the poverty line aren't able to provide education to their children therefore, the children are unable to achieve their potential. This results in a continuous chain, where this poverty continuous for generations.

Poverty is a state or condition in which a person or community lacks the financial resources and essentials for a minimum standard of living. Such a social condition is not healthy for human growth and development and this further affects Global Development and Growth and therefore, must be reduced.
