Five reason why povert continue to exists:-

1) POPULATION :- The growt rate of indian population is still high which is 2 at present, which could not lead to indias poverty to decrease.

2)illiteracy :- lack of education in most of the backwards areas is still a dangerous reason which lead to poverty, it increase the no.of unskilled labour which led poverty.

3) Primary activities :- about 40 and above percent of population of india engaged in primary activities like agricultural, fishing, rearing, etc, these activities want more lobour force or unskilled labours which means lack wages or reflect poverty.

4)Lack of urbanisation :- about 65 and above percent of indian population still exist in rural areas, which reflect lack of urbanisation as well as lack of development which means low income in rural areas.

5)Slow growth of gdp:- because of high dependency on primary sector indian economy growth is not very well, which not raise per capita income, we have to focus on secondary and tertiary sector.
