Answer:

E = W. .....1

E=pt

w=pt. 0. (by 1)

where

p= 2t+2wt

t=2sec

w=(2t+2)2

put the value of t

w=(2*2+2)2

w=(4+2)2

w=6*2

w=12J

Answer:

The answer is 12J

Explanation:

As we know that power is the work done in unit time and its unit is Watt, which is Joules/second.

    Power =\frac{workdone}{time}

Given that the power applied to the particle varies with time as

                       P= (2t+2)watt and the time taken is, t=2s

Therefore work done =Power × time = (2t + 2) × t

by multiplying t with the terms inside the bracket

Work done = (2t×t) +2t =  2t^2 +2t =  2(t^2 +t)   →equation 1

After substituting the value of t=2s in equation 1

Work done = 2(4+2) = 2×6 = 12Joules
