Answer:Take a bar magnet and place a steel pin at some distance. Then we observe that nothing happens but when we bring the steel pin near the pole of a bar magnet, we notice that the pin sticks to the poles of the magnet. This experiment shows that maximum magnetic force acts at the poles of the magnet.
