Power Sharing is necessary for democracy because of the following reasons.....
(i) It helps to reduce the possibility of conflict between social groups.
(ii) It is a good way to ensure the stability of the political order.
(iii) Here, people have a right to be consulted on how they are to be governed. Thus, a legitimate government, is one where citizens, through participation, acquire a stake in the system.

Power sharing is the very spirit of democracy...it involves those who are affected by its rule nd those who have to live with its effect...in a good democratic rule people have the right to be consulted in how that are to be governed...
secondly since it's based on moral consideration also it ensures fair share nd that nobody feels alienated from the government....
