Power sharing is the very spirit of democracy as we can see in the case of Belgium, where people shared power among french and dutch and this prevented any future conflict or civil war on the basis of language as happened in Sri Lanka where power was not shared among tamils and sinhala speakers which resulted in a civi war and many conflicts. So power sharing is the very spirit of democracy.
