National Power

  • National Strength is a nation's capacity or competence to protect its national interest’s goals and objectives in comparison to other nations. This requires the right to use force or the threat of the use of force or control over others to protect national interest goals.

Political power:

  • Political scientists also identify authority as the ability to influence someone else's conduct with or without opposition. The word authority is often used for control which the social structure perceives as valid.
  • Use power doesn't need to include violence, intimidation or threat of force. A constitutional system thereby retains authority since its dictates, regulations, and actions are recognized and obeyed by people.
