    OQ is 12cm

    Given : PQ is the Tangent of length 6cm and angel OQP = 60°    
    To find: OQ = ?

In ∆ OQP ,
We know that,
   Cos(alpha) = adjacent side/hypotenuse
Therefore,
  Cos60° = PQ/ OQ
But we know that, cos60° = 1/2
Substituting in above equation we can
  1/2 = 6/OQ
 OQ = 6 × 2
  OQ = 12 cm
Hence OQ is 12cm
