Answer:

As PQR is an righted angled isosceles triangle,

And angle R is 90.

So angle P and Q would be 45 each

Hence PR and QR are the angles opposite to equal so PR=QR -----(1)

According to Pythagoras theorem,

Hypotenuse square = Sum of square of other two sides

PQ^2=PR^2 + QR^2

PQ^2=PR^2 + PR^2. ------ from (1)

Hence proved
