∆PQR is right angled at Q. If PQ = 35 cm and PR = 37 cm, then find the length of QR.​

Here, PQ is the perpendicular and PR is the hypotenius,

Given, P = 35cm

H = 37cm

B =?

Now,

By using Pythagoras theorem. We get,

b   =  \:  \sqrt{h {}^{2} }  -  {p}^{2}  \\   =   \sqrt   {37}^{2}  -  {35}^{2}  \\  =  \sqrt1369 \:  -  \: 1225 \\   =  \sqrt{144}  \\  = 12

Hence,

The required length QR is 12cm.
