Answer:

let PQ and QR be x as equal

ATQ

x+x+100=180

2x+100=180

2x=180- 100

x=80/2

x=40

Answer:

angle P = angle R = 40°

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: In ∆PQR, PQ = QR

and, angle Q = 100°

To find: angle P and R

SOLUTION:

In ∆PQR,

since, PQ = QR ....(given)

=>angle R = angle P .......(i) (angle opp. to equal

sides are equal)

Now , By angle sum property,

angle P + R + Q = 180°

=> P + P +100 = 180° [from eq.(i)]

=> 2P+ 100 = 180°

=> 2P = 180 - 100

=> 2P = 80°

=> P = 40°

Now, since, angle P = R

Therefore, R = 40°

Hope this helped you....
