∆PQR~∆XYZ, PQ=12cm, QR=10cm, XY=30cm. if the perimeter of ∆PQR=40cm then find perimeter of ∆XYZ​

Given: triangle ABC ∼ triangle PQR,  perimeter of triangle ABC = 32cm, perimeter of triangle PQR = 48cm and PR = 6cm 

since the y are similar, 

AB/PQ = BC/QR = AC/PR 

AC/PR = perimeter of triangle ABC/perimeter of triangle PQR 

AC/6 = 32/48 

AC*48 = 6*32 

therefore AC = 4cm
