PQRS is a parallelogram. PM is the height from P to SR and PN is the height from P to QR .If SR = 12 cm and PM = 7.6 cm.
(i) Find the area of the parallelogram PQRS
(ii) Find PN, if QR = 8 cm.

(i) as PQRS is a parallelogram,
area of PQRS parallelogram = base × height
= length of SR × length of PM

given, length of SR = 12cm
and length of PM = 7.6 cm
so, area of PQRS = 12cm × 7.6 cm
= 91.2 cm²

(ii) area of parallelogram = length of SR × length of PM = length of QR × length of PN
so, 91.2 cm² = 8cm × length of PN
=> 91.2/8 = length of PN
length of PN = 11.4 cm

hence, length of PN = 11.4 cm

HELLO DEAR,

1) PQRS is a parallelogram,

we know,
area of PQRS parallelogram = base * height

= length of SR * length of PM

GIVEN:-
length of SR = 12cm ,

length of PM = 7.6 cm

so, area of PQRS = 12cm * 7.6 cm

= 91.2 cm²

2). area of parallelogram = length of SR * length of PM = length of QR * length of PN

so, 91.2 cm² = 8cm * length of PN

91.2/8 = length of PN

length of PN = 11.4 cm

hence, length of PN = 11.4 cm

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS
