PQRS is a parallelogram. QM is the height from Q to SR and QN is the height from to PS.
If SR=14cm and QM=6cm, find:
1) the area of parallelogram PQRS.
2)QN, if PS=12cm.

1)Parallelogram also has

length and breadth

like rectangle,

A(PQRS)= l x b

= 14 x 12

=168 sq. cm

2)QM/QN=QR/PQ

6/QN=12/14

QN=7 cm
