Hello,

Here's the answer :-

The opposite sides of a parallelogram are always equal.

Let QR be x cm.

PQ = x+6

Perimeter = 2x + 2(x+6) = 2x +2x +12 cm = 4x +12 cm.

Given,

Perimeter = 36 cm

=> 4x +12 = 36 cm

=> 4x = 24 cm

=> x = 6 cm

Hope it helped :-)

Sirajbava: Can't we write PQ= QR+6?.Please clear the doubt.
visnukant: Yes u can write
supersonu: ya sure
supersonu: just took x as variable to make it simpler
visnukant: Then add all
Sirajbava: Thanks all
supersonu: my pleasure
