PQRS is a parallelogram with PQ=26cm and QR=20cm. If the diatance between its longer wides is 12.5cm find, (i) the area of the parallelogram (ii) the distance between it shorter side.

(i). Base(b)= 26 cm
Altitude(h)=12.5 cm
Area of PQRS =b×h
=26×12.5= 325 cm^2

(ii). Base(shorter side)=20 cm

hence ,height =

$= \frac{area}{base } \\ = \frac{325}{20} \\ = 16.25$
