Compare triangles PSQ and  QRS.

SR = PQ ,    SQ  is a common side.    the angle between SR and SQ in triangle SRQ is 90 = the angle between PQ and SQ which is 90.

two sides and the angle between them are equal in both triangles.

so the triangles are congruent.

hence their areas are equal.

the area =  1/2 * 4 cm * 5 cm = 10 cm^2
