so, ar(POQ)=1/4ar(PQRS)

area of rectangle =l.b

l=20m

b= 28m

=20m.28m

=560sq.m

1/4 ar(PQRS) =1/4.560

=140

area of the shaded region = total rectangle area - triangle area

=560-140

=420
