The measure of angle RSQ in the rhombus PQRS is 65°.

Rhombus :

  • Rhombus in general is a special case of a parallelogram as the opposite pair of sides in a rhombus are parallel to each other.
  • One additional specification of a Rhombus over a parallelogram is that all four sides in a Rhombus are equal.
  • Also thus, the diagonals in a rhombus are perpendicular bisectors of each other.

There is an additional property of angles in a Rhombus :

  • Opposite angles are equal
  • Adjacent angles are supplementary i.e. sum to 180 degrees

In the given rhombus i.e. PQRS, the angles RPQ and the angle RSQ are opposite angles. Thus, according to the properties of Rhombus, these two angles will be equal.

Thus,

   ∠RSQ = ∠RPQ ( Opposite Angles )

              = 65° ( as given )

Hence, the measure of Angle RSQ is 65 degrees.
