see , the rhombus is a quadrilateral that has all sides equal so if you find even one side then you can multiply it by 4 for perimeter .

now for that one side :

draw a figure of the quadrilateral and join its diagonals , also put the measures of OP and OS in figure

now comes the point, the diagonals in a rhombus bisect at 90 degree so in the question OP is perpendicular of a triangle in pqrs rhombus and OS is your base

use pythagoras to find PS which is (8)²×(6)²=(PS)²

                                                   ⇒64+36=(PS)²

                                               ⇒√100=PS

                                  therefore        ⇒PS=10cm which is your answer
