Answer:

PERIMETER OF RHOMBUS=4*SIDE

40=4*SIDE

SIDE=10CM

3:4=D1: D2

6:8=D1:D2

LET COMMON MULTIPLE BE X

D1=6X

D2=8X

DIAGONAL OF RHOMBUS BISECTS EACH OTHER

1/2D1=3X

1/2D2=4X

DIAGONALS OF RHOMBUS BISECT EACH OTHER AT RIGHT ANGLE

BY PYTHAGORAS THEOREM

SIDE²=(1/2D1)²+(1/2D2)²

10²=(3X)²+(4X)²

100=9X²+16X²

100=25X²

X²=100/25

X²=4

TAKE A SQUARE ROOT ON BOTH SIDE

X=2

D1=6X=6*2=12CM

D2=8X=8*2=16CM
