Solution:-

We know that ,area of a square when a diagonal is given:-

=>1/2d²

=>1/2(10)²

=>1/2×100

=>50cm².

Thus,area of the square is 50cm².

as square is a rhombus, we can use the formula of rhombus to find the area of the square.
