as the side of square = 7m
radius of each circle=7/2m
1)perimeter of shaded region -
perimeter of square= 4a =4×7=28m
perimeter of 4 circles= 4×2πr
= 4×2×22/7×7/2
=88m
perimeter of shaded region= perimeter of 4 circles - perimeter of square
= 88m - 28m
=60m
2) area of square = (side)2
=7×7=49m2
area of 4 circles = 4×πr2
= 4×22/7×7/2×7/2
= 154m2
area of shaded region= area of 4 circles - area of square
= 154 - 49
= 105m2
