As we see, here are a trapezium named PQRS

Parallel sides are 15cm and 15cm
Non-Parallel sides are 17m and 17m
Height is 11m

Firstly, we will change the unit metre into centimetre.
As, 1m = 100cm
So, 17m = 17×100 = 1700cm (SQ)
11m = 11×100 = 1100cm (SR)

Area of trapezium = 1/2× (b1+b2) × h
= 1/2×(15+17) × 11
= 1/2× 32× 11
= 176cm^2

Answer:

answer is 104 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

using Pythagorean theorem

h² = p²+b²

p² = h²- b²

sp = √(SQ)² - (PQ)²

sp = √(17)² - (15)²

sp = √289 - 225

sp = √64

sp = 8

area of trapezium = 1/2*(sum of parallel side )* height

= 1/2*(11+15)*8

= 26*4

= 104m²
