Length of PQ=7 cm

Length of PM= distance between two parallel sides =4 cm

Length of SM=3cm

Length of SR=SM+MN+NR

because PQRS is isosceles trapezium,

so, SM=NR=3 cm and MN=PQ=7cm

so, Length of SR=3cm +7cm +3cm =13cm

Now, area of trapeziumPQRS

= 1/2 (PQ+SR)×PM sq.cm                                                                                          = 1/2 (7+13)×4 sq.cm

=20×2 sq.cm

=40sq.cm
