PQRS is a trapezium with PQ||SR. Side SR is produced to X such that RX=PQ. Prove that ar(∆PQR)=ar(∆QRX)

in triangle pqr and triangle qrx
pq=rx given
angle pqr=angle qrx alternate angles
also pqrx is a parallelogram as pq=RX and pq parallel to RX
thus angle P=X
by ASA both are congruent
