PQRS is trapezium as shown in the figure such that PQ parallel SR PQ find the area of trapezium PQRS, if PQ=15m, SQ=17m and SR=11m​

Answer:

Parallel sides = 15cm and 15cm

Non-Parallel sides = 17m and 17m

Height =11m

Metre into Centimetre.

As, 1m = 100cm

So, 17m = 17×100 = 1700cm (SQ)

11m = 11×100 = 1100cm (SR)

Area of trapezium = 1/2× (b1+b2) × h

= 1/2×(15+17) × 11

= 1/2× 32× 11

= 176cm^2
