prabal deposited 5,000 in a bank which pays
11/2 interest. After three years, he withdraws the money and buy an almirah for 4,700. How much money is left with him?

Si= p*t*r/100

=50p*3*11/200

=825

Amount=5000+825 =5825

5825-4700

=1125

P = 5000

R = (11/2)%

T = 3 years

Now,

Interest after 3 years = (5000 * 11 * 3)/2 * 100

 

                                   = 825

Amount after 3 years = 5000 + 825

                                    = 5825

Thus,

Money left with him = 5825 - 4700

                                 = 1125

Therefore, money left with him is 1125.
