Area of rectangle:

l x b

= 40 x 28 = 1120 m

Area of square:

l x l

35 x 35 = 1225 sq.m

Rectangle < Square

Ans: The square has more area.

Perimeter of rectangle:

2 (l+b)

= 2( 40+28 )

= 2 x 68

= 136 m

Perimeter of square:

l x 4

= 34 x 4

140 m

Rectangle < Square

Ans: The square has a bigger perimeter.
