pandemic COVID-19 & the efforts made by your locality to control its spread.

It’s crucial we comply with federal, provincial and municipal government efforts to combat its spread.

But once this pandemic is under control, which will take months, we must investigate why all levels of government, of all political stripes, failed to heed the many lessons and warnings of the 2009 H1N1 pandemic and 2002-03 SARS epidemic.

Almost 500 Canadians died in those outbreaks, thousands were infected, quarantined and hospitalized, and expert government panels in their wake clearly identified major problems that contributed to their severity.
