Hey Mate!!

Practice problem 3/2+5/6 ;

=  \frac{3}{2}  +  \frac{5}{6}

Find LCM for the denominators to make it equal.

LCM of 2 and 6 is 6

So,

 \frac{3}{2}  \times  \frac{3}{3}

=  \frac{9}{6}

Now,

 \frac{9}{6}  +  \frac{5}{6}

=  \frac{9 + 5}{6}

 \frac{14}{6}

After simplification ;

=  \frac{7}{3}

Therefore, Answer is 7/3.

Hope this helps you!!

 \frac{3}{2}  +\frac{5}{6}  =  \frac{(6 \times 3) +(2 \times 5)}{(6 \times 2)}  \\ \\  =  \frac{18 + 10}{12}  \\  \\  =  \frac{28}{12}  \\   \\  =  \frac{(4 \times 7)}{(4 \times 3)}  \\\\   = \frac{7}{3}
