Answer:(i) The equivalent circiuit is

Here the resistance of arm EFGH=10+10+10=30Ω

it will be is parallel to resistance of arm EH=10Ω. Their equivalent resistance

RP=10×3010+30=7.5Ω

Total resistance between AandB

=10+7.5+10=27.5Ω

(ii) The equivalent circuit will be (a) 126 Here the resistance of arm EHG=10+10=20Ω will be in parallel to resistance of arm EFG=10+10=20Ω

Effective resistance point EandG

=20×2020+20=10Ω

Total resistance point AandC

=10+10+10=30Ω
