Answer:

First we should calculate the area of first triangle with formula 1/2×base×height =45/2.

Again we calculate the area of second triangle with same formula 1/2×base×height = 30 .

The ratio of area of these triangles = 45/2/30 = 3:4

Given:

BC = 9, AB = 5, PQ = 6 and QR = 10.

∴A(△ABC)/A(△PQR)

=AB×BC/PQ×QR

=5×9/6×10
